Kith Unveils First-Ever 'Sesame Street' Collaboration
It’s a nostalgic and sunny day at Kith.
Kith has officially revealed its upcoming collaboration with childhood favorite TV show Sesame Street. Marking the duo’s first-ever collaboration in celebration of the show, the collection pays homage to some of the most iconic characters that shaped the early years of recent generations.
Sharing their broad range of Sesame Street-treated pieces, the collection hones in on reimagining the show’s most iconic characters. Elmo-riddled crewnecks are offered side-by-side varsity jackets with Big Bird, the Cookie Monster and Count von Count. Combining Kith’s signature branding with the characters in motion, other characters like Bert and Ernie and Oscar the Grouch are all highlighted on character-specific sweaters. The vibrancy of all the characters combined are seen as a popular print across hoodies, skate decks and more. The collection takes some of the most iconic scenes from the television show, and gives them a second life as apparel pieces. Taking on the vintage aesthetic with washed out textures and colors, the pieces bring a sense of nostalgia.
From sweaters to t-shirts, the collection also includes an array of accessories including caps, beanies and even plush toys. Others include a Elmo and Kith branded mat, piggy bank a cookie jar and more. The collection drops on December 16 in-stores and online at 11 a.m. EST.
