ASICS is expanding the ASICS-ONE lineup with an all-white colorway. First teased by Taka, ONE OK ROCK’s frontman, the new variant was first seen on the singer’s Instagram post over the weekend.
The new iteration features the same designs as its all-black counterpart, boasting a striking slip-on design in a tone-on-tone color scheme. Made from a mix of synthetic leather, fibers and resins, the shoe has a neoprene-like feel and rests on a chunky, wavy rubber outsole.
The model is co-developed with the singer, with the ASICS team at the Institute of Sport Science incorporating the singer’s stage movement and patterns into the shoe’s design. Touted as a live-performance shoe, the special silhouette features integrated technology that enhances body stabilization, balance and control, catering to the dynamic, high-energy nature of ONE OK ROCK’s live shows where Taka frequently sprints and leaps across the stage.
