Blue Green Works Unveils Lamps Inspired by Half-Pipes
Debuting in a temporary installation at Time Again in New York’s Chinatown.

Blue Green Works, the NYC-based design studio led by Peter B. Staples, has unveiled a new series of pendant lamps inspired by the architecture of skateboarding.
The collection, currently on show in New York’s Chinatown, transforms wood from a structural element into a focal centerpiece. Replicating the fluid curves of skateboarding half-pipes, the pendants exude energy, movement and flow, striking a harmonious balance between form and function that challenges conventional boundaries.
Available in multiple configurations, the Wood Pendant series features three distinctive sizes: Large, Small, and Stacked, with a choice of White Oak or Black Walnut finishes. Each pendant highlights the natural beauty of wood, showcasing its rich grain patterns and organic textures. Designed for versatility, the collection can be stacked and reconfigured to complement any setting, from intimate residential interiors to expansive architectural spaces.
Launching on December 16, the collection will debut in a temporary installation at Time Again, a dynamic cultural space in Chinatown, New York. Priced between $2,200 to $3,200 USD, the pendants are available exclusively through Blue Green Works. For more details, visit their website.
