A closer look at the Nike Ja 2 “In The Woods” colorway has surfaced. Combining a color scheme that consists of white, astronomy blue, hemp and vintage green, the Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant had recently spoke with Hypebeast sharing that this particular version is one of his early favorites at the time. He said, “It tells the story of where I’m from and is a reference to my grandma’s porch, where my family and I used to hang out at — playing cards, listening to music, everything else. That colorway describes all of that in a special way.” Channeling cherished memories of his grandmother and deeply inspired by his childhood, the shoe also celebrates his love for the outdoors. The clean, white upper base is constructed in breathable mesh while the mudguard is accented in premium leather for the added level of sophistication. The Swoosh is highlighted in a vibrant blue to contrast the white base as it sits atop a speckled midsole and white outsole to round out the design. Look out for the pair arriving at the beginning of next year.
