Gramicci and Greater Goods Craft Special Collection Out of Garment Remnants

Comprising one-of-one pieces, each with a unique rugged character.

London-based design and upcycling studio Greater Goods has teamed up with Gramicci for a collection crafted entirely of pre-existing Gramicci garments. The innovative label and the climbing gear purveyor’s shared outdoor roots are synthesized in a seven-piece line comprising one-of-one garments, promoting a circular approach to design.

The collection arrives in a monochrome army green palette, with subtle tonal variations provided by the differing characteristics of the pre-existing components.

The patchwork-style construction is shown throughout the line, led by two different outerwear styles: a classic collared jacket that adds a touch of sophistication to the collection and an outdoor-style silhouette that boasts a hood and a vented backside.

For bottoms, a pair of knee-length shorts is accompanied by paneled trousers with a belt strap, in true Gramicci style. Rounding out the collection a vintage army-style backpack with strapped closures is joined by ultra patched-up satchel with a particularly worn-in character. Lastly, a distressed bucket hat mirrors the rugged textile applications in the aforementioned satchel bag.

Looking closely, one can find unique stitching details and spots of paint, highlighting the resourceful process of upcycling that the partners used to create the collection.

Each piece from the limited-run collection will become available through an online raffle aligning with the November 14 launch date, with all proceeds supporting the Urban Uprising climbing charity.
