Leica’s New Projector Is a Premium Upgrade for Your Home Theater
The projector can stream directly from your preferred device.
Leica has followed up its flagship projector, the Leica Cine 1, with a new, revamped model. The Leica Cine Play packages advanced laser technology in a Bauhaus-inspired design.
The Cine Play is capable of delivering 4K resolution across a wide range of screen sizes, from 65 to 300 inches. Building on the Cine 1, the new model aims to offer improved image quality through colors, contrast and gradation.
The projector is constructed out of aluminum and glass and can be either mounted or paired with the brand’s floor stand. It’s also compatible with the majority of popular streaming apps, allowing users to control the projector from their preferred device.
Leica says the projector has a lifespan of over 25,000 hours and supports Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+ and HLG.
The Leica Cine Play is priced at $3,795 USD, while the Leica Floor Stand is an additional $495.
