BAPE and adidas have cultivated a close relationship over the past two decades, crafting apparel and footwear that merge the design languages of the Japanese and German brands into one. This year we saw the duo start with the Stan Smith and then present the N BAPE and a capsule with Damian Lillard to introduce the Dame 9.
The two are back for Fall/Winter 2024 with another footwear project, this time bringing BAPE’s STA motif to the adidas Orketro. Three colorways have been assembled by the duo, with all three sporting the star design at the lateral alongside an “A BATHING APE” callout. This same text hit is present at the sockliner alongside the brand’s APE HEAD while color combinations include black and white, purple and magenta, as well as blue, yellow and green.
At the time of writing, neither BAPE nor adidas have confirmed any release details regarding the release of their three Orketro colorways. Stay tuned for updates as each of the looks are currently expected to drop next week on November 15 via adidas and select retailers.
