Aminé Drops Off '.mp3s' EP
Complete with two new tracks: “s2wik” and “Wingz” with Cardo Got Wings.
Aminé‘s .mp3s is here. After giving us a glimpse of his new post-KAYTRAMINÉ chapter with “Adam” and “Passenger Princess” with Smino, the multifaceted Portland rapper has unveiled the anticipated aforementioned four-pack stocked with two new tracks.
“s2wik” signals the opening offering. The synth-infused cut is carried by an electronic-pop type of production and tone, further defined by Aminé’s signature playful lyricism. “Wingz” carries over the rapper’s admirable adaptability, switching the vibe to a more low-key feel.
“If Cardo Got Wings then I do too / RedBull sippin’ with Vodka juice / She ain’t got cake, shawty got a caboose, hey / I’m beatin’ it up like a n*gga produce / Not on my roster, but she my recruit / Text me come over and I’m in pursuit,” Aminé spits over the clean Cardo-produced beat.
“2 new loosies out now,” he wrote in an Instagram caption, making it unclear whether or not he has a longer-form project in mind or .mp3s will merely serve as a one-off project to hold us over.
