With 2093 now seven months in the rearview, Yeat is (finally) showing signs of his long-awaited fifth studio album, LYFESTYLE.

Earlier today, the rapper took to Instagram unexpectedly to drop off the first official trailer for the project.

The trailer opens with a shot of an elevator, with the floor number on top dialing down from 2093 to 2024. Yeat exits the elevator into a house where havoc was wreaked; a bell swings through the middle of the foyer and leaves nothing but destruction on the floor and a smattering of skulls and bones fall into the stairwell.

After lighting a cigarette, Yeat quickly tosses it out on the floor, catalyzing a fire to burn throughout the house. He begins to slowly traverse through the burning house, stepping out to a stampede of horses surrounding the property and the house fully up-in-flames.

A LYFESTYLE title card hits the screen at the end.

While the trailer doesn’t hint at any imminent release date, Yeat ensured the drop was imminent in the Instagram caption. “LYFESTYLE IS HERE ########twattttt 🪖🪖🪖🪖🪖🪖🪖🪖 200k KOMMENTS IF U WANT IT NEXT WEEK…..,” he wrote.

Stream the trailer above and stay tuned to Hypebeast for any updates on Yeat’s new music.
