Fucking Awesome x UNITED ARROWS & SONS Goes Formal With Two-Piece Suit
A first-ever suit offered by the skate brand, featuring a discreet Fucking Awesome logo pattern hidden in the lining.
Fucking Awesome has partnered with Japanese retailer UNITED ARROWS & SONS for a special edition two-piece suit inspired by mid-century Japanese cinema. Even while going an unconventional route, the collaboration maintains the ironic choices Fucking Awesome has become known for. Founder Jason Dill is found in the campaign sporting the matching number with an open white shirt and a snakeskin belt, showing peeks of the classic Fucking Awesome logo hiding within.
The suit, comprising a blazer and trousers, is made in a classic pencil striped wool serge fabric. The retro Japanese inspiration manifests in broad lapels on the jacket and and roomy pleats in the trousers. Keeping it simple, the creative partners offer two colorways: black and light gray. A discreet Fucking Awesome word mark covers the entire cupra lining of the trousers and also appears on the back of the jacket collar.
Last August, Fucking Awesome launched another collaboration with Converse which offered a blacked-out Chuck Taylor All-Star High-Top model, which also opted for a subtle logo placement peaking out from the soles.
To start the collaboration will launch on October 16 at the Shibuya Parco pop-up and will then become available at UNITED ARROWS & SONS web store on October 25.
