Artisans de Genève’s “Ventura” Is a Daytona Imbued With Celestial Allure
With a bezel and dial crafted from aventurine.

After instilling its artisanal magic on a Patek Philippe Aquanaut, Artisans de Genève breathes new life into a Rolex Daytona ref. 116500 in its latest bespoke project.
As its name indicates, “Ventura” features an aventurine dial crafted from blending rose gold, copper and glass. The result is a finish that shimmers and glistens in a gentle way, boasting a pattern that is completely unique and formed by chance, thus adding a poetic touch to its celestial allure.
Exuding a starry quality, the watch face and bezel are refitted with mirror-polished aventurine, creating a stellar visual conversation with all its dial markings and solid rose gold hands. Another mesmerizing feature of the watch is that the subdials have been reinterpreted in a skeletonized manner — offering the owner a glimpse into the “Ventura” without turning over to the caseback.
Powering “Ventura” with 32 hours of continuous running time, the Rolex 4130 caliber is reimagined by artisans at the independent watchmaking workshop, complete with a new openworked rose gold oscillating weight.
For “Ventura,” the cost for customization totals 34,520 CHF (approx. $40,216 USD). Every case by Artisans de Genève is uniquely priced depending on the nature of the project. To read more about the project’s process and story, head over to Artisans de Genève’s website.
