Dingyun Zhang is back with two new Samba reimaginings, marking the emerging designer’s second sneaker collaboration with adidas. While their first co-creation arrived in a glossy “Core Black,” the new iterations are presented in a whole new mood and fall-ready palettes.
Clad in suede, the upper is accentuated with a puffed-out heel collar that nods to Zhang’s hallmarked design language. The “White Vapour” colorway features its titular shade in an allover treatment, where the padded heel and tongue play up a subtle tonal contrast with the suede upper.
As for the “Oxidized Brown/Solar Red” variant, the gum sole and upper are doused in a warm brown hue, while the sockliner and pronounced heel collar come in a juxtaposing light gray. Completing shoes are co-branded tongue and laces in a striking “Solar Red.”
