Artisans de Genève Reimagines a Patek Phillipe Aquanaut in "Eternal Green"
Showcasing a sophsticated openworked dial.
The latest unveiling by Artisans de Genève presents a reworked Patek Philippe Aquanaut ref. 5167A in a deep verdant green.
Dubbed “Eternal Green,” this timepiece is reimagined in a stunning new appearance that synonymously caters to the client’s preferences, while also respecting the history of its original makers. The client, Mr. V.B. wanted to reinterpret his ref. 5167A in a way that honors his personal journey, serving as a memento for a particular time and moment in his life.
The original 324 movement has been sophisticatedly reworked in a skeletonized look, with each new component beveled, polished and coated by hand. While it’s housed in its authentic watch case, a new chapter ring featuring an “Eternal Green” PVD treatment has been implemented.
Other modifications include newly fitted yellow gold hands, a steel balance bridge as well as a hand-pierced and finished gold rotor. To complement the piece’s color scheme, a new rubber strap is specially developed by Rubber B, a partner of the Swiss independent workshop.
The cost for this customization is around 58,520 CHF (around $69,015 USD). To read more about the process and story for “Eternal Green”, head over to its dedicated webpage. Every case by Artisans de Genève is uniquely priced on the nature of the customization. Those who are interested can inquire via Artisans de Genève’s official website.
