Porsche and La Marzocco Release Auto-Inspired Espresso Machine
Adding yet another special collaboration to its growing roster of partners, this time in coffee.
For its next cross-industry collaboration, luxury auto manufacturer Porsche is releasing a limited run of La Marzocco espresso machines. The collaborative design offers a special edition of the Italian espresso machine brand’s Linea Micra portafilter model in two special variants.
The Slate Grey Neo design boasts a sleek monochrome exterior that evokes Porsche’s present, while the Martini Racing design pays homage to retro 911 Carrera RSR, which won the 1973 Targa Florio endurance race in Sicily. The Martini Racing-inspired machine boasts vintage red and blue racing stripes, while a bright red base draws the eyes to the double word mark.
There are only 911 of the auto-inspired machines, nodding the vintage Carrera model. In addition to prominent co-branding on the front, the auto-purveyor infuses its design identity into the machine with pressure gauges modeled after Porsche’s speedometers and handles that resemble drive mode switches. Both designs come with a La Marzocco coffee grinder and co-branded espresso and cappuccino cups.
The Porsche x La Marzocco espresso machines are available at Porsche Centers, Porsche Design stores and Porsche’s web store.
