Babylon LA Lifts the Curtain on First FW24 Drop
Spanning graphics and cut-and-sew garments, the collection is available to shop now.
Los Angeles-stationed Babylon is back with another seasonal release. Marking the first of the label’s Fall/Winter 2024 drops, Babylon’s newest delivery combines its graphic expertise with its growing cut-and-sew department for a cohesive and expansive collection.
Set at downtown LA’s iconic Belasco Theater, the Ruegah-shot lookbook sees models flex the label’s new pieces up against the theater’s Spanish Baroque backdrops.
A clean lineup of cut-and-sew pieces draws influence from workwear-inspired styles, putting a fresh Babylon spin on each one. Printed denim pants come in two striking all-over patterns, whereas triple black denim carpenter shorts offer a more toned-down take; heavy waffle thermals also come covered in all-over prints.
The “Body Surfer” work jacket might be the standout, landing in two iterations of blue denim and black denim. The cotton coverall takes a rather minimalistic design, equipped with solely front pocketing and elevated with the “Body Surfer” graphic at the chest and on the back.
On the graphic front, Babylon offers up a handful of graphic t-shirts including one with the “Body Surfer” image, as well as a floral “Daisy” option and a New York City-influenced “No Liberty” one.
