Bearing resemblance to the L’Art de L’Automobile’s Nike Air Force 1 Low Collection, the new AF1 Low arrives in a matte nubuck leather upper that appears black in some angles and a deep ink green under light. This distinct hue interplays with the solid black hue, creating a subtle yet intriguing visual effect with the tongue, laces, sockliner, Swoosh logos and outsole.
The large, outer lateral Swoosh now comes in a rubberized finish, while the inner logo has been replaced with a much smaller “Anthracite” embroidered version near the inner heel. All of this sits atop a black rubber Air-Sole unit, completing the signature “AIR” lettering near the heel.
