BMW Unveils New 2 Series Gran Coupé
Featuring a sportier look and tech-focused updates.
BMW has introduced the latest generation of its 2 Series Gran Coupé, designed to bring a blend of sporty elegance and modern tech to the compact premium segment.
Notable design updates include a dynamic exterior, featuring a widened front grille and a sleek, elongated profile. The updated LED headlights, including the optional BMW Iconic Glow grille, aim to provide additional optionality. The vehicle has also grown slightly in size, now measuring nearly 15 feet in length and sitting lower on the road, further enhancing its sporty stance.
Inside, the Gran Coupé offers a premium, leather-free cabin with a range of materials like Veganza and Alcantara. The redesigned interior includes a BMW Curved Display and is powered by BMW’s iDrive system with QuickSelect, running on BMW Operating System 9. This system enables in-car gaming and seamless digital services for an enhanced experience.
Under the hood, the top-of-the-line BMW M235 xDrive Gran Coupé delivers 300 hp, accelerating from 0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds. The model also features an M Technology package for track-oriented performance. Other engine options include advanced 4-cylinder petrol and diesel variants, all paired with a 7-speed Steptronic transmission and 48-volt mild hybrid technology.
The new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé is set to launch in March of 2025, with details on price and availability yet to be shared at the time of writing.
