As the calendar turns from 2023 to 2024, a few more wrap-ups have been shared by companies. For Nintendo, it has shared a list of its 30 most-downloaded Switch games of 2023. It’s worth noting that this data was made available only via Nintendo’s Japanese website, indicating it may be limited to Japanese download data only. Regardless, it serves as a well-rounded review of the console’s exciting 2023.

Notably, the hit Japanese puzzle title Suika Game from 2021 emerged as the first place entry after not appearing in the console’s top 30 mid-year list. Its $3 USD price point and virality amongst livestreamers allowed it to overtake The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, which landed in second place after leading the mid-year list. Completing the top three, Pikmin 4 made an appearance after launching in July.

Listed below are the top 15 titles, for the complete list of all 30 games included in Nintendo’s round-up of the most-downloaded games on the Switch in 2023, check it out here.
