Nike Reveals the Comfort-Oriented Flyknit Bloom
Rounding out the brand’s trio of new Flyknit-equipped silhouettes.
It’s been nearly 12 years since Nike first introduced Flyknit to the world, bringing lightweight uppers to countless sneakers. Despite its age, the tech still holds up to this day, prompting the Swoosh to craft a trio of new Flyknit-backed silhouettes for 2024. Previously, first looks at the intricately-detailed Flyknit Venture and Flyknit Haven moc surfaced. Now, it’s time for the Flyknit Bloom to take center stage as the final part of the new group.
As expected, its upper leverages Flyknit throughout its layered build as various bits of red, black and white combine across the colorway. A similarity to the Flyknit Venture is that its lacing system reaches around the heel, however, it looks to require a proper knot at the heel. Its bulbous sole unit is comparable to the Flyknit Haven’s, though it favors larger shapes at its midsole.
At the time of writing, Nike has not disclosed any release details pertaining to the Flyknit Bloom and the other two Flyknit-equipped silhouettes that are set to arrive this year. Based on an early product page published by Naked Copenhagen, it’s possibly making a debut on February 3 at a price of $138 USD.
