The Nike Air Max Force 1 Low Evo "Team Royal" Is a Head-on Collision Between Air Max and Air Force
An absolute mess of a sneaker, in the best way possible.

What would you get if an Air Force 1 Low and some sort of Air Max prototype slammed into each other at top speed? It’s hard to say for sure, but the end result would likely bear at least some similarities to Nike‘s new Air Max Force 1 Low Evo “Team Royal,” a layered design that’s equal parts hybrid sneaker and mangled Charles Ray sculpture, all wrapped up with an extra-long moniker.
The “Team Royal” color scheme is classic Nike Sportswear through and through, with a bright blue upper, white midsole and gum outsole. It’s merely supposed to serve as a base for the Evo’s wild accents, of which plenty exist. Chief among these are exposed blue Air units — or, possibly, a unit, as it may be a full-foot cushioning setup — in the midsole’s forefoot and heel, which look as if they’ve burrowed their way through its rubber folds to make their presence felt on the outside. Uppers boast a ripped and torn design, with the blue leather outer layer covering a white canvas base, shown via heel detailing, a cut-out Swoosh and a clipped tongue detail, a half-finished excavation that adds further depth and detail. Last but not least, the standard Air Force 1 outsole is dotted with concave circles that offer slight shades of the Air Max Plus.
At the time of writing, a release date and pricing information for the Nike Air Max Force 1 Low Evo has yet to be revealed. However, more info is likely to surface soon.
