ASICS Drops Two New GEL-Nimbus 9 Colorways
Including “Pepper/Wood Crepe” and “White/Light Indigo.”

While the ASICS GEL-Nimbus 9 has in recent days seen vibrant inline releases like “Candy Floss” and colorful collabs like that with Brain Dead — the Japanese sportswear brand has unveiled two new colorways that are more subtle and somewhat reminiscent of the past WIND AND SEA collaboration.
The new colorways, namely “Pepper/Wood Crepe” and “White/Light Indigo,” provide the silhouette with a vintage look, as both feature tonal mesh and plenty of metallic accents. ASICS describes the shoe as a “mid-2000s running shoe reimagined for everyday scenarios.”
On the “Pepper/Wood Crepe” pair, wearers will find accents of sky blue at the branding on the tongue, heel and eyelets, with a darker blue accenting the gel areas of the midsole. As for the “White/Light Indigo” pair, while it uses fewer colors and is arguably less busy in its design elements, it does stand out as the bolder pair, thanks to its dark indigo stripes, pearl and metallic accents.
Both pairs are available now via ASICS’ official site, retailing at $160 USD.
