Louis Vuitton x Timberland 6-Inch Boot Collaboration Revealed
The hip-hop staple is goin’ full high fashion.

Another hip-hop staple is making its way into the high-fashion sphere, as Louis Vuitton has collaborated with Timberland for a fresh take on the 6-Inch Boot. Revealed via the @skateboard Instagram account — created to show Pharrell’s work at LV and its inspirations — the collaboration is not so much a departure from the classic style as a loving tribute to it.
Particular details can be seen across the boot’s peripherals, including a Louis Vuitton logo lasered onto the front of the tongue, the house’s signature monogram on both the rear of the tongue and (very faintly) on the lateral heel and co-branded hangtags. The collaboration will likely be unveiled in full during Louis Vuitton’s FW24 show at Paris Fashion Week, which is set to take place at 8 PM CET on January 16.
The collaboration with Timberland fits neatly into the bold, streetwise ethos Pharrell has established during his short tenure at Louis Vuitton. His well-recieved SS24 show included items that were equally at home on New York City streets as they were on the Parisian runway, ranging from his clever pixelated camo reworking of the house’s signature Damier pattern to his primary-colored, super-sized logo-adorned Speedy bags, premium baseball jackets and extra-chunky Trainer Maxi sneakers. That’s not even mentioning Louis Vuitton’s swath of Timberland-inspired silhouettes, from Pharrell’s own Checker ankle boot to the Ranger Ankle Boot.
