Levi’s Re-Launches Its Iconic 517 Bootcut Jeans
The Orange Tab line offering popularized in the ’70s
Introduced back in 1969, Levi’s‘ 517 Bootcut jeans have a rich history with its association with the counterculture movement and push for self-expression. Part of the Orange Tab line and popularized in the ’70s, the 517 Bootcut jeans were designed to be “full from the knee for the boot.” Levi’s has now brought back the timeless style marked by durability and comfort with its Spring/Summer 2024 collection for men.
The release comes in an array of iterations led by the 517 Bootcut a modern remix that sits at the waist and slim through the leg with a wider opening. Followed by the Sta-Prest® Flare defined by a permanent center crease and the Levi’s Vintage Clothing limited-edition 1970s 517 Bootcut.
The Levi’s Vintage Clothing limited-edition 1970s 517 Bootcut stands as a stitch-for-stitch reproduction of the classic ’70s fit. Made with pre-shrunk White Oak Cone Mills 12 oz. denim, the jeans are limited to just 800 and come complete with “Saddleman Boot Jeans” packaging.
The SS24 collection 517 Bootcut jeans re-launch is available now via Levi’s.
