According to reports, WWE has now announced that its flagship program WWE Raw will be coming to Netflix. A new long-term partnership between the sports entertainment company and streaming service is set to start in January 2025 and will see Raw streaming every Monday in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Latin America, and other countries, with more to follow.

In the United States, subscription holders will also be able to stream the WWE’s other weekly programs – NXT and SmackDown – in addition to pay-per-view events like WrestleMania. Netflix also offer WWE documentaries and original series internationally when the partnership launches next year. The move into sports entertainment is rumored to see Netflix pay the WWE more than $5 billion USD over 10 years.

“This deal is transformative,” said Mark Shapiro, President and COO of WWE parent company TKO, in a statement. “It marries the can’t-miss WWE product with Netflix’s extraordinary global reach and locks in significant and predictable economics for many years. Our partnership fundamentally alters and strengthens the media landscape, dramatically expands the reach of WWE, and brings weekly live appointment viewing to Netflix.”
