Gucci's New Ancora Campaign Looks at Sabato De Sarno’s Debut
Serving as a tribute to fashion photography.

Gucci has revealed its new Ancora campaign, which takes a look at Sabato De Sarnos’s debut Spring/Summer 2024 collection.
Shot by David Sims and envisioned by the Italian luxury brand’s new creative director, the new campaign serves as a tribute to the power of fashion photography. With it, the cleanly shot visuals center on the themes of timeless beauty and personal expression – two key points of what De Sarno is trying to build at Gucci.
Comprising the campaign is a lineup of the SS24 collection’s pieces which fuses elegance with everyday utility. You’ll find pieces like classic black blazers updated with eye-catching sharp cuts, overcoats with glittering details, leather jackets, understated hoodies and more. But special hero pieces include a deep wine-colored leather skirt with embossed Gucci detailing, a white backless top with multicolored jewel trim and a cream Jackie 1961 handbag with matching multicolored jewel trim.
Helping bring the campaign to life are models Ana, Fadia, Jiahui, Nyajuok and Violet, who are newcomers to the luxury house. With them stems an expression of personal beauty and the power that every woman has.
