Louis Vuitton's SS24 Campaign Takes Pharrell Williams' Panache to Paris
French landmarks backdrop the vibrant menswear staples.
Pharrell Williams was appointed at the helm of Louis Vuitton‘s menswear division early last year, looking to fill Virgil Abloh‘s shoes after passing in 2021. Williams has embraced his predecessor’s design language, merging House codes with contemporary touches and a street-forward identity.
Ahead of his third runway show scheduled at Paris Fashion Week, Williams has revealed his Spring/Summer 2024 campaign. Louis Vuitton returns to its Parisian roots, storming local landmarks with vibrant menswear staples. While Rihanna and LeBron James previously promoted the collection, the complete offering is now on display.
Models relax against local staircases in leather motorcycle suits, preparing to hit the road with rectangular sunglasses and protective headgear. Cropped checkered blazers arrive in subtle grey tones, seen in red on Barry Keoghan at the 2024 Golden Globe Awards. Rhinestone-encrusted varsity jackets are paired with several monogram bags derived from their $1 Million USD counterpart, while cozy tracksuits boast pearlescent decor. Williams’ pixelated graphics continue to stand strong, completing the campaign with rubber rainboots and an A$AP Rocky-worn denim uniform.
