Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to dominate in the NBA, this year teaming up with Damian Lillard as the new duo looks to bring home another championship to Milwaukee. However, the Greek-Nigerian superstar hasn’t been solely focused on his on-the-court action as he has just announced his new media company he founded with his brothers and sports media analyst Jay WilliamsImprobable Media.

That’s not all for Antetokounmpo as one of two documentaries on the way about his upbringing have just released. Kicking off 2024, he teamed up with WhatsApp for UGO: A Homecoming Story — a 31-minute exploration of his Nigerian roots, celebrating family, friends and culture. The documentary just launched on YouTube today and is viewable now.

In addition to this, Prime Video has just announced a feature-length documentary diving into his journey from an impoverished childhood in Greece to rising to the highest ranks in basketball. Interviews with Giannis and his family are included alongside insights from his peers such as Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday and Jason Kidd. Titled Giannis: The Marvelous Story, it’s set to premiere as an Improbable Media and Words + Pictures production on February 19 exclusively via Prime Video worldwide.
