Tesla China and McDonald's China Debut Cybertruck-Inspired Spoons
The “Cyber Spoons” are available in limited quantities only.
Tesla China and McDonald’s China have teamed for a sleek utensil to accompany its McFlurry ice cream — the “Cyber Spoons.”
Only available in 50,000 quantities, the utensil is inspired by the unique design of the Tesla Cybertruck and arrives with a stamp on the handle that reads “DON’T PANIC,” referring to a book written by Douglas Adams entitled The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. A matching black storage option for safekeeping is available, which is branded with the “POWERED BY TESLA” phrase on the cap, while the McFlurry cup itself has been redesigned to suit the Cyber Spoon.
The Verge reported that Tesla China announced the product to be official via its Weibo account and the McDonald’s Xiaohongshu account despite CEO Elon Musk dubbing it “fake news” as far as he knows.
The Tesla China x McDonald’s China Cyber Spoon is available at limited quantities for ¥30 RMB (approximately $4 USD).
Elsewhere in food and beverage, Pringles introduced an “Everything Bagel” flavor.
