Update: Back in June, Eli Manning and Fat Joe connected on The Eli Manning Show, leading to a special reveal of the Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 Low “Porpoise.” Now, Nike is finally gearing up to launch the kicks with a release date set for August 19 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $150 USD. Enjoy a complete visual breakdown of the pair above and for more details, peep our initial coverage below.

Original Story: Eli Manning: two-time Super Bowl champion, New York Giants legend, broadcaster extraordinaire … sneaker lover? The youngest Manning brother may be best known for his on-field feats and his on-camera jokes, but now he’s made some noise in the sneaker space as well by revealing a new colorway of the Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 Low in white and grey.

Manning showed the shoes off in a recent episode of his eponymous The Eli Manning Show, where he took a trip to the Bronx to visit UP NYC, Terror Squad head honcho Fat Joe‘s sneaker boutique. Between the jokes, shoe try-ons and general back-and-forth banter, he also revealed (and even licked the sole of) the new low-top Air Force 1.

Terror Squad Air Force 1s have historically boasted bold colorblocking and bright palettes, but this white and grey model is fairly straightforward, combining white toeboxes, quarter panels and midsoles with light grey Swooshes, heels, collars, and outsoles. Of course, Terror Squad’s “TS” logo is embroidered on the lateral heel. This no-frills scheme is in line with the recently-revealed white and black TS Air Force 1, a style that may serve as the model’s first first general release iteration.

Until 2023, the Terror Squad Air Force 1 was an exceedingly rare shoe, and its various iterations could fetch four figures at auction. Almost 20 years ago, Nike produced the PE-style sneakers for Fat Joe and his inner circle — the rapper, whose government name is Joseph Antonio Cartagena, has indicated that not even Nike was aware of their existence at first as he had a friend at the brand who would order wildly-colored samples to distribute to the Terror Squad — but as the brand continues to mine previously unexplored areas of its past in the never-ending pursuit of cultural relevance the TS AF1s will be getting a proper moment in the sun.

At the time of writing, no release date or info has been announced. However, more details will likely surface soon.
