Back in 2007, DJ and streetball personality Bobbito Garcia hosted Fat Joe on his series It’s the Shoes on ESPN that focused on high-profile celebrities and athletes and their sneaker collections. Fat Joe was called as one of the guests on the show, and during his segment, he flexed a plethora of rare Jordans and Nike sneakers, the latter of which included a fleet of Terror Squad x Nike Air Force 1 Lows that were strictly made for friends and family. Fast forward nearly two decades later, those AF1s are finally getting a chance to release to the masses.

The first colorway to be officially revealed by Nike takes on a simple yin and yang motif. Overlays and Swooshes are made from tumbled leather and come covered in solid black while the toe boxes, quarter panels and interiors are treated in white. Terror Squad’s “TS” logo is embroidered into the lateral heel while “JC” arrives on the heel, the latter being short for Joe Crack, Fat Joe’s nickname.

Peep a detailed look at the pair in the gallery above and note that these are slated to release on August 19, 2023

Elsewhere in sneakers, the Nike Air Max 1 “Mica Green” colorway has emerged.
