London’s vintage curators are among the best in the world – and the market is showing no signs of slowing down. Having worked as a stylist and consultant while building up a heavy collection filled with rare Prada Sport, Nike ACG, and C.P Company pieces over the years, London resident Louis Holsgrove is at the forefront of the scene in the big smoke.

His expertly-curated blend of sportswear and technical clothing is often shared among some of the biggest moodboard accounts on Instagram, while his Hol.Sales buying/selling account has racked up over 150,000 followers.

Louis has now just moved into a new London studio with his brother, who works as a Saville Row tailor, where he’ll be offering private appointments to his collection, as well as working on his new brand, From Point Blank, which he’ll be showcasing at Hypebeast Flea in September.

Check out our conversation with Louis ahead of Hypebeast Flea below. Tickets to Hypebeast Flea are free! Don’t forget to sign up here now.

Hypebeast: Explain your brand to people who may not know you yet.

Louis Holsgrove: Holsales is a curated selling platform showcasing a unique selection of technical garments and accessories with style influences featuring forward-thinking aesthetics and ergonomics.

What’s the journey been like from starting your brand, to where you are today?

I started this as a side hustle when I was at uni to give me some pocket money six years ago. It grew into a full-time career, and I’ve been running it for three years now. I’m incredibly grateful that Holsales has connected me with a huge variety of brands and innovative designers, and enabled me to style, consult, and creatively direct campaigns. Off the back of this, I also launched my brand .blank.

Flea is going to be hosted for the first time in the UK. How does the UK’s creative community inspire you and your brand?

Without community, Holsales wouldn’t exist. We love starting conversations, discussing the products we sell, as well as diving deep into the past and unearthing garments from the past that people don’t see every day.

What have you got planned at Hypebeast Flea?

A handpicked selection of highly sought-after forward-thinking designs from the likes of Prada, Stone Island, Nike/ACG, Oakley, Maharishi, Comme Des Garcons + more.

What other vendors are you looking forward to checking out at Hypebeast Flea?

I’ve been meaning to link up with Archive DNA for some time now, so I’m hyped to check what they are showcasing.
