Hypebeast Flea: Cremate
Founder Junior Adesanya crafts spiritual aromas to relax the mind from modern stresses.
City life, these days, is increasingly hectic. We all need a slow-down ritual, and London-based incense brand Cremate has the answer. Founder Junior Adesanya burns scents away in search of freedom, helping others to break away from modern, fast-paced lifestyles.
Cremate’s transformative aromas take inspiration from 1970s surf and skate culture, naming its scents after holy spirits. The brand’s incense and room sprays deliver powerful experiences to relax the mind handmade on British soil.

Hypebeast: Explain your brand to people who may not know you yet.
Junior Adesanya: Cremate is essentially an incense/scent brand with influences rooted in skate, surf, music, etc.
What’s the journey been like from starting your brand, to where you are today?
It’s been a pretty organic and chill journey – still quite an operation that has grown through word of mouth and begun to gain world recognition, small and hones which is cool.
Flea is going to be hosted for the first time in the UK. How does the UK’s creative community inspire you and your brand?
I’m inspired by collaboration – what can different spaces and entities bring to the table to enhance each other and create something new.
What other vendors are you looking forward to checking out at Hypebeast Flea?
Angel’s Nailz – that’s family, so I’m interested to see what she brings to Hypebeast Flea — Johnny Hoxton too, we’ve collaborated, and he’s made some of my jewellery.
