The UK is packed with emerging creatives looking to tell their story, and IDA’s euro sports-style offering is proving a breath of fresh air into the oversaturated UK streetwear scene. Founded by Jordan Vickors, IDA holds close ties to family affairs, named after his great-grandmother.

Gearing up present at Hypebeast Flea, IDA’s street-ready essentials will be on full display. From branded hoodies to joggers stamped with its “Norf West London” slogan, IDA is here and ready for action.

Hypebeast: Explain your brand to people who may not know you yet.

Jordan Vickors: IDA is the love child of old Nike & Stüssy energy dipped in ideas formulated from music, fashion, and design culture. European youth culture also sits as the underlining catalyst for us and trying to deliver into the market something that we think is slightly missing. Hard graphics and technical prints are something we are really trying to push in the studio. We just want something to look and feel really good without having to deliver some bozo Story behind it.

What’s the journey been like from starting your brand, to where you are today?

It’s been an insane 12 months since we launched, and people are really starting to understand what we are trying to deliver to the community. We have deep-rooted music and design foundations, and our team is starting to fill with the youngest market leaders in their fields.

Flea is going to be hosted for the first time in the UK. How does the UK’s creative community inspire you and your brand?

IDA is a reflection of the kids who are into music, sport, and rave culture, with a slight nod to elements of my current work at Stüssy.

What have you got planned at Hypebeast Flea?

We are going to have some new cut-and-sew garments alongside some Ida jerseys + some best-sellers for us. We will also be showing our new collabs for 2024.
