Hypebeast Flea: 19RINGS
Offering understated accessory designs, crafted to last a lifetime.
Birmingham-based jewelry brand 19RINGS never shies away from quality craftsmanship. The British jeweller prides itself on its fine silver pieces; ones that are designed to elevate any outfit while also worn by those who strive to express themselves through accessories.
Additionally, 19RINGS works alongside Birmingham Assay Office, ensuring every piece is upheld to best-in-class standards and that its shined effect doesn’t diminish over time. Now, having expanded from rings to custom-designed neck and wristwear made with solid silver in the UK, 19RINGS designs are continuing to offer luxury feels, with its understated designs being crafted to last a lifetime.

Hypebeast: Explain your brand to people who may not know you yet.
We are a fine jewellery brand from Birmingham, designing and making all our pieces in the historic Jewellery Quarter.
19RINGS is all about combining the unconventional with the familiar through the reimagining of classic jewellery silhouettes. Our design philosophy is founded on the idea of placing the every day somewhere unexpected, whether it be a fire escape sign or a Coke can.
What’s the journey been like from starting your brand, to where you are today?
The brand was founded in 2020, on the tail end of the covid pandemic. For me, it was the ideal time to pick up CAD technology as well as provide a creative outlet. And a pretty good distraction from everything too.
Finding a suitable manufacturer was a journey in itself. Casting jewellery always comes with its challenges, so finding the best casters was vital for smooth product development. It took years of trial and error, but it’s been such a blessing being able to build good relationships with the craftspeople in the Jewellery Quarter.
Social media has been hard to get right. But when it does, it connects me with the right people. TikTok is an amazing example of this. Through TikTok, I’ve been commissioned/ contacted by people with incredible bespoke jewellery ideas, which has allowed me to explore and develop as a designer.
Flea is going to be hosted for the first time in the UK. How does the UK’s creative community inspire you and your brand?
The UK has a strong creative scene, which pushes me to constantly experiment with new ideas and techniques. I think that has been a huge motivation in teaching myself CAD design – so I can make these ideas a reality. As the heart of our brand is creativity, it’s especially important to connect with people in the community. This feeds massively into producing things like campaigns, where collaborating with photographers whose work I admire is essential to turning a concept into a reality.
Probably the biggest influence for the brand is Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter community. Since the beginning, everyone I’ve met is passionate about their craft and has always been willing to share their knowledge and experience. It’s very special to be able to make jewellery in a place that historically, and still to this day, has a huge influence on the UK’s jewellery industry.
As well, Hypebeast’s Flea event will be inspiring, it’s very exciting to have so many talented creatives all together in one space.
What have you got planned at Hypebeast Flea?
Lots of Silver. I’m incredibly excited to exhibit my upcoming collection, the focus of which is an emerald-cut diamond-inspired ring with corresponding neck and wristwear.
My current and previous collections will also be available. As an online exclusive jewellery brand, this will be the first chance for people to be able to see our pieces in person.
In addition, I will be available to discuss ideas and inquiries about bespoke jewellery, so if you’ve been thinking about getting a custom piece of jewellery designed, pop down, and we can talk ideas. There will also be some examples of exclusive, 1-of-1 pieces to get the creative juices flowing!
What other vendors are you looking forward to checking out at Hypebeast Flea?
I’m going to be checking everyone out, it’s such a variety of independent vendors. I’m particularly looking forward to seeing Aeliza, SUEZ Studio, and Johnny Hoxton — just a few brands I already show my support to via social media.
