'Tekken 8' Receives an Official Release Date
Also announcing new single-player mode, “Arcade Quest.”
Building on all the teasers Bandai Namco has already shared, Tekken 8 has now received an official release date. At Gamescom 2023, Bandai Namco shared that the latest addition to the iconic fighting game series will be arriving January 26. Tekken 8 will be available for Sony PlayStation 5, Microsoft Xbox Series X/S, and PC with pre-orders open now.
The latest trailer for Tekken 8 highlights the 32 unique fighters beloved by fans set to appear in the 10th entry in the franchise. It has also been revealed that the game will mark the beginning of “a new Tekken saga” following the death of longstanding antagonist Heihachi Mishima.
Players will also be introduced to a new single-player mode, “Arcade Quest,” along with character creation that will play with tournaments through a virtual arcade.
