Our Legacy WORK SHOP Taps Satisfy for Running Capsule
Including brand new designs and upcycled marathon tees.
Our Legacy has announced a collaboration between its creative studio WORK SHOP and fashion-focused running brand Satisfy. The collection includes a variety of new color explorations from the brand and a limited collection of upcycled marathon shirts featuring co-branded graphics.
The Satisfy brand is a unique one in the running world, launched in 2015 as its founder Brice Partouche found a disconnect with the performance-focused offerings of traditional running brands.
“What the big brands were doing with the performance side of things, didn’t resonate with me at all. There was no music, no art, no experience. I wanted to give running a new culture, an alternative,” Partouche shared. Since its launch, the brand has become renowned in the world of running apparel for its expert use of premium fabrics and its unique look.
These aspects are further reflected in this latest collaboration with Our Legacy WORK SHOP, which includes items like the windbreaker and shorts set, available in a variety of colors and all crafted from water-repellant salt-treated Italian MAJO TECH rip-stop nylon. Other notable items include three new overdyed color additions of Satisfy’s knitted Japanese AuraLite 4-way stretch fabric — available in both muscle tee and short-sleeve examples.
Additionally, the collection includes a limited run of “REPOSSESSED MARATHON” tees, made up of vintage running tees that have been upcycled in collaboration with Our Legacy WORK SHOP and feature co-branded reflective prints over top the tee’s original graphic designs.
The collection, titled, WORK SHOP RUNNING, will be available on August 25, at Our Legacy and Satisfy’s official sites, as well as available in-store at Dover Street Market London, Ginza, New York and Los Angeles.
