Yoda's Wisdom Graces Three Collaborative HUMAN MADE Tees
HUMAN MADE’s first collaboration with ‘Star Wars’, it is.
Over the years, NIGO had made it clear that he’s been a lifelong fan of the Star Wars franchise. From BAPE to UNIQLO, the designer has utilized his various projects to pay homage to the series whenever the opportunity arises. Now, he’s gearing up to add another collaboration to his collection by immortalizing three of Jedi Master Yoda’s famous quotes on HUMAN MADE tees.
Utilizing the brand’s signature woven tees, three Yoda quotes have been printed on black and white blanks. First, “Do or do not, there is no try,” recounts Yoda teaching Luke Skywalker about the Force on Dagobah. After that, the “Always in motion is the future,” quote also comes from the duo’s time on Dagobah while the “May the Force be with you,” line rounds things off as an often-repeated sentiment that was first expressed on-screen by General Dodonna during the Rebel briefing before sieging the Death Star in the original Star Wars film. Each tee features the HUMAN MADE logo beneath the backside’s neckline and a left sleeve tag with a silhouette of Yoda at the exterior and “STAR WARS” text at the interior.
Release for the Star Wars x Human Made Yoda quote tees is set to take place on August 7 at 10pm EDT via Human Made’s online store. The online exclusive release is priced at $82 USD each.
