nonnative FW23 Blends Workwear and Military Styles
Updating brand staples alongside new pieces.

Even though summer is still blazing on with scorching temperatures, it is only a matter of time before we’re all back in puffer coats and pants. In preparation for the cool seasons ahead, Tokoy-based brand nonnative has revealed its new Fall/Winter 2023 collection.
For its latest collection titled “Ordinary Days,” the brand’s creative director Takayuki Fujii has offered up a fusion of workwear and military styles – which have been fall/winter style staples for the past few years. But Fujii took these core styles and imparted a revitalized touch for the forthcoming season. Crafted with a contemporary feel, the offering casts its core values/silhouettes in a new form – consisting of outerwear, knitwear, crewneck sweatshirts, relaxed pants and more.
Outerwear stands tall with a lineup of nylon bomber jackets, parkas and lighter jackets that blend style and utility – also incorporating technical materials like GORE-TEX WINDSTOPPER and POLARTEC. Other standout fabrications include Shetland wool yarn and cashmere yarn that appear across knitwear garments like cable-knit sweaters and crewneck pieces. Elsewhere, you’ll find other focal garments like the Alpinist Easy pants, Denim Blouson Jacket and Dweller Long Coat. Rounding out the collection is a selection of accessories like eyewear, scarves, gloves and footwear – with the Worker Zip Duck Boots serving as a special highlight.
