anOnlyChild Makes a Case for Denim With New Capsule
Paying homage to Americana styles.
Maxwell Osborne’s anOnlyChild is making a case for denim with its new capsule collection. Quintessentially Americana, the latest from the brand pays homage to core U.S. stylings.
Taking form through a live photoshoot and celebration of summer, the capsule adds to Osborne’s cadence of offering up blended, elevated and culturally relevant pieces. Utilizing the staple fabric, the brand explores some of its signature silhouettes like double-pleated pants and wide-leg trousers. But also embedded in the capsule are relaxed jeans, a pleated skirt, button-down tops and a jacket.
“We wanted to keep the styles classic and play with the idea of an all-denim collection,” said Maxwell Osborne.
Highlights of the collection include foldover relaxed jeans, floor-hugging relaxed jeans, a denim bra top and a collared zip-up jacket. For an added touch, all of the pieces are hand-washed and dyed in Brooklyn and are crafted from deadstock denim. The lineup of pieces also features various wash shades, ranging from light to medium-dark.
