Lil Wayne Delivers New Theme Song for Skip Bayless’ ‘Undisputed’ Sports News Show
The rapper’s contribution to the show is titled “Good Morning.”
Following a two-month hiatus, Skip Bayless’ talk show Undisputed made its return to TV, along with a new theme song by Lil Wayne.
The sports news show was on pause for the summer when Bayless’ co-host, former NFL player Shannon Sharpe, left the segment following the 2023 NBA Finals and ultimately started a new gig at ESPN. A new episode finally aired on Monday, featuring Bayless in a debate with Keyshawn Johnson, Michael Irvin and Richard Sherman.
Ushering in the fresh era for Undisputed was the Wayne track, dubbed “Good Morning.” The song was shared on social media with a visual of Wayne rapping, interspersed with ads for Undisputed.
“I bite my tongue and I don’t like the taste,” Wayne raps. “I won’t back down.”
The lyrics seem to be a nod to Bayless’ heated debate style, as he often made it difficult for Sharpe to get a word in. Fans online poked fun at the latest episode, where, for a change, his co-hosts dominated the conversation.
