Jordan Brand continues to expand its Air Jordan 17 lineup. Recently, the brand announced that it will be returning in 2024 with the “Lightning” colorway and now, it is set to arrive in the OG “Varsity Red.”

2024 is shaping up to be a busy year of retro releases. This upcoming classic shoe is nicknamed “Cherry” and was initially launched back in 2002 to show off the shoe’s clean white and red design. The typical white and red, color scheme has been beloved by Jordan fans worldwide. Jordan wore this exact model during his time with the Washington Wizards. The shoe features an almost all-white leather upper with red tins on the toe, tongue, eyelets and mid-foot shank plate. The shoe features a TPU heel stabilizer in blue which sits atop a white outsole.

The Air Jordan 17 OG “Varsity Red” is slated to arrive at select retailers and online at Nike sometime in 2024. Stay tuned.

In other footwear news, “Orange” lights up the Nike Calm Slide.
