Young Thug is opening this week’s Billboard 200 at No. 2 with BUSINESS IS BUSINESS

The album debuts wit a total of 89,000 equivalent album units, including 80,000 in streaming equivalent album units (106.32 million on-demand streams of the tracks), 8,500 in album sales and 500 in track equivalent album units. BUSINESS IS BUSINESS marks Thugger’s eight top 10 effort and was released as he continues to face RICO charges. It was initially forecasted to open at No. 1 to become the first chart-topping hip-hop record of 2023, however projections dropped.

Other newcomers on the chart are Peso Pluma, who makes history as Génesis earns the highest-charting regional Mexican album ever at No. 3, and Kelly Clarkson’s Chemistry at No. 6.

Elsewhere on the chart, Morgan Wallen and Taylor Swift stay at No. 1 and No. 4, respectively, followed by Gunna at No. 5, Wallen again at No. 7, SZA at No. 8, Swift again at No. 9 and ATEEZ at No. 10.

In other music news, Rihanna is the first female artist to have 10 songs on Spotify with a billion streams.
