Studio Pesca, a creative reality collective comprised of numerous talents in realms including art direction, content production, graphic design, social media, web development and editorial projects, has brought its aesthetic vision to the heart of Milan. Commemorating its third birthday after its 2020 founding, Studio Pesca opened Spazio Pesca – designed by set designer, stylist and interior architect Greta Cevenini – in the thriving district of Paolo Sarpi. Spazio Pesca is a multifunctional hub suitable for all kinds of creative collaboration.

“As a creative studio it is important to express our flair in all areas that accord with our nature, from curating a convivial occasion to forging artistic collaborations,” the studio’s founder Benedetta Gambino explains of her multidisciplinary approach to designing a space where all forms of creativity can coexist.

This coexistence is mirrored by the contrasting yet still cohesive array of pieces scattered about the studio. From the street, Studio Pesca appears to be just another Milanese house on the side of the road; yet upon entering into the inventive oasis, guests see that’s not quite the case. Bright colors intermingle with muted ones and opposite tones reside akin to one another. A bright acid green lures guests into the house, as they peruse the entryway and exhibition area; on the other hand, the kitchen, office and meeting room all lean into more delicate and less invasive colors.

“My wish was to narrate Studio Pesca and its imagery through the space,” Cevenini explains of the slew of images printed in various rooms. In the meeting room, a curtain imprinted with some of Studio Pesca’s works hangs on the windowsill, evoking the importance of collaboration in design.

Duality dictated the chosen materials utilized throughout Studio Pesca as well. Architect Sofia Albrigo designed mirrored metal tables and stools that rest within the bright green walls. Cevenini ensured the designers and brands she enlisted all amplified the studio’s mantra. Alias brought its Spaghetti chairs; Lapalma perfected all things office seating; Zerogloss manufactured the kitchen island, and Vesoi handled the studio’s crisp lighting. 3TTMAN of Varsi Art&Lab created the “Sexy Time in Yellow” display and Mariachiara Manelli curated the grandiose floral installation to the shower.
