Did Travis Scott Inspire This Nike Dunk High Colorway?

Chocolate brown and sail color-blocking is reminiscent of the rapper’s Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Reverse Mocha.”

Travis Scott still remains one of, if not the biggest music member of the Nike and Jordan Brand roster. His collaborative footwear projects have a tendency of crashing the SNKRS app due to the millions of people and bots trying to snag a pair. And given that catching L’s on his release days are more common, the Beaverton-based sportswear brands will often release inline colorways of their popular silhouettes that are styled in a similar fashion to his team-ups. This three-toned Nike Dunk High colorway is a prime example of that.

The arrangement of these lifestyle kicks resembles the Cactus Jack artist’s Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Reverse Mocha” collaboration. The toe boxes, quarter panels and collars are all filled in with a chocolate brown hue while the overlays are treated with a “Sail” exteriors. Hints of a bold red hue poke out through the interior liners, heel tabs and the exposed stitchings on the checks, and these match up with the Nike and Cactus Jack branding that have been seen on Scott’s previous Air Jordan 1 offerings. Additionally, hints of gold are shown through the Swooshes and basketball logos that rest on the footbeds.

Nike and select retailers will be dropping these in the coming weeks.

For other news, a Nike Dunk Mid “Panda” colorway has been revealed.
