Various Denim Washes Appear on the Nike Air Max 1 ’87 “Aura”
The women’s pair also comes treated with corduroy mudguards.
The Air Max 1 ‘87 is known to only make appearances on occasion, but when it does, it tends to do so with wild patterns and materials. And this season, Nike intends to broaden the silhouette’s catalog titled the “Aura” colorway, and it has just been revealed by way of official imagery.
Starting out with the upper half, this women’s focused makeup comes fitted with various denim washes that make up its underlays and Swooshes as well as the overlays that are seated on the quarter panels heels and lower ends of the throat. The former is dripped out with a “Midnight Navy” denim while the latter is formed with a slightly lighter wash. Notes of tan pop out through the laces, padded tongues, insoles and exposed upper stitchings. Furthermore, the mudguards add even further texture as they are treated with an all-white corduroy material. Riding down below is a “Sail”-covered midsole piece that is stacked above a full navy outsole.
No official release information has been confirmed by Nike yet, but you can likely find them dropping in the coming months for $150 USD through Nike and select retailers.
