Calling attention to the international poverty crisis.
Festival season is well underway, seeing chart-topping stars perform live under the summer sun. From the U.K.’s Glastonbury to H.E.R.‘s Lights On Festival, this year is destined for greatness.
U.S. advocacy organization Global Citizen is preparing for its annual line-up, working to call governmental attention to global poverty issues. Held in New York City’s Central Park, the festival was first introduced in 2012 and asks guests to donate toward humanitarian causes to attend.
Global Citizen’s 2023 festival line-up has been revealed, seeing American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers headline the occasion alongside Megan Thee Stallion and Ms. Lauryn Hill. The three renowned artists will hit the stage in front of 60,000 guests, performing next to Conan Gray and Stray Kids on September 23, 2023.
If you’re interested to attend the festival, you can earn tickets by taking action to end extreme poverty. Find more information on the Global Citizen website.
