Devon Turnbull’s "HiFi Listening Room Dream No. 1" Arrives In London

Soundsystem engineer Devon Turnbull is recognized as the first and only “speaker sculptor,” creating immersive listening experiences to awaken your senses. Turnbull’s hi-fi equipment turns music into gold, creating all-encompassing audio environments in international gallery spaces.
After Turnbull’s 2022 group exhibition at Lisson Gallery in New York City, he travels to London to share his engaging HiFi Listening Room Dream No.1 exhibition. Heading to Lisson Gallery in the British capital, the exhibit is open to all and motivates listeners to “surrender to the act of listening.”
Turnbull’s carpeted listening rooms are overwhelmed by jumbo-sized speakers, turntables, amplifiers, and seating for guests to melt into. Grey neo-brutalist designs dominate the space with an artistic aura, seeing Turnbull craft a “shrine to music” with pre-recorded sounds spread across vinyl records and analog tapes that spin through unreleased tracks and chart-topping hits.
