Converse Connects With Margaret Howell to Reimagine The All Star Earl
Presenting two colorways in “Anthracite” and “Pale Green.”
Converse has connected with Margaret Howell’s MHL to present two new iterations of the classic All Star Earl silhouette, with the new designs following up from the pair’s original Chuck Taylor All Star collaboration in 2015.
Over recent times, Margaret Howell has never been afraid of collaboration. For example, the British designer has connected with the likes of Fred Perry and Mizuno to present collaborative projects that have explored Howell’s eye for both apparel and footwear design.
With each collaboration that passes, however, Margaret Howell has continued to prove that her understated approach to fashion design is timeless, with new creations often being versatile pieces that can be mixed and matched with various styles across any passing season.
More of the same has been unveiled in Howell’s latest collaboration with Converse. The shoes have been designed in two colorways of “Anthracite” and “Pale Green,” with MHL adding personal touches in the form of a React 2.0 midsole that provides enhanced comfort and stability when on the move.
Additionally, the shoe designs have also been hit with a rubber toe cap and sole unit, while the understated uppers and lateral sides are crafted with durable textured materials, designed to complement the corresponding laces that intertwine on top.
