At the end of June, rumors began circulating that CLOT would be ending its longstanding creative partnership with Nike. Despite a series of standout releases within the last few years, Edison Chen‘s celebrated imprint confirmed the end of the relationship with the official unveiling of the CLOT x Nike Dunk Low “What the? CLOT.”

We now have a closer look at the latest CLOT 20th anniversary offering ahead of the drop set for the end of the month. The CLOT x Nike Dunk Low “What the? CLOT” serves as a tribute to the brand’s two decades of collaboration with a take on the unique “What the?” amalgamated design style. The shoe is meticulously crafted with distinct design elements curated from past CLOT x Nike releases.

Notable inspirations come from 2006’s Air Max 1 “Kiss of Death,” 2012’s Tennis Classic AC TZ “Museum Edition,” Air Jordan 13/14 “Terracotta” from 2018 and 2021, along with selections from the Air Force 1 “Silk Royale” series first popularized in the early 2000s.

To further mark the release, CLOT has come together with trading card name Kakawow for a series of exclusive trading cards. Each pair of shoes will come with a trading card pack containing one of 23 card designs, with 17 base cards featuring an iconic CLOT x Nike style found on the Nike Dunk Low “What the? CLOT.” Additionally, the set also includes four parallel cards and two numbered Edison Chen autographed cards (printed or signed). All cards from the set are accepted by Professional Sports Authenticator (PSA) for authentication and grading.
