High Jewelry Meets Watchmaking In Piaget’s Metaphoria Collection
All handcrafted at the Maison’s ateliers

Piaget has revealed Metaphoria, its brand-new high-jewelry collection comprising 52 exquisite pieces, all handcrafted at the Maison’s ateliers.
The name, Metaphoria, draws inspiration from the fascinating yet rugged beauty of Switzerland’s La Côte aux Fées, as well as Côte d’Azur’s brilliant hues. Every piece in the collection is designed to highlight the abstract beauty found in nature, which is then realized into wearable luxuries that embody both refinement and rawness.
Divided into individual lines and chapters, a total of 11 pieces from the collection are actually time-tellers. Flecks of yellow gold, white gold, and diamonds are pieced together in a feather-line formation for the Alata bracelet, which comes with a 356P Manufacture quartz movement. Two Métiers d’Art timepieces with unique mosaic dials made up of ornamental stones and diamonds can be spotted in the Alitura and Undulata series.
Among the lineup, is the familiar-looking piece Limelight Aura high jewelry watch which was first unveiled at Watches & Wonders earlier this year. Other interesting highlights include an Adrivea secret ring watch starring a cabochon-cute aquamarine, and a Foliatura wristwatch set with Columbian emeralds, chrysoprase, and diamonds.
Take a look at some of the Metaphoria collection’s selection of timekeepers in the gallery above. To view the pieces in more detail, or to check out the collection’s entire lineup, visit Piaget’s official website.
Elsewhere in watches, Timex brings back the World Time 1972 timepiece in all its glory.
